The state of Florida Personal Injury Protection insurance, also known as “PIP” requires that a Medical Doctor (osteopathic physician, dentist, supervised physician's assistant, or advanced registered nurse practitioner) must determine if an injury is an “emergency medical condition”. PIP regulations also require that the injured person must start medical treatment within 14 days of the accident, or their PIP policy will not pay for medical treatment. PIP insurance usually covers eighty (80) percent of all “necessary and reasonable” medical expenses up to a maximum of $10,000.00 regardless of who is at fault when an accident occurs. You do not need a referral from your primary care physician or permission from your insurance company to schedule an appointment. We offer full-service diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients injured in motor vehicle accidents.
